These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of vidosick.com and the browser tools we provide (together, the “Services”), operated by VidoSick (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://vidosick.com/privacy-policy). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

VidoSick offers free, browser-based utilities for video-related tasks (for example frame/time conversion, aspect-ratio helpers, and video-to-GIF conversion). Features may change, improve, or be removed at any time.

Many tools run entirely in your browser. We do not currently require user accounts. If we add optional accounts or paid features later, we will update these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to process content you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer (except where allowed by law), or gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems
  • Abuse automated access (for example scraping or flooding) in a way that harms the site or other users
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

You are responsible for files and content you process with the tools and for complying with copyright and other applicable laws.

4. Intellectual property

The Services — including site design, branding, text, and software we publish — are owned by VidoSick or its licensors. You may use the public website tools for your own personal or commercial video work subject to these Terms.

You retain rights to media you process locally. We do not claim ownership of files that remain on your device. Third-party libraries (for example open-source components such as ffmpeg.wasm) are governed by their own licenses.

5. Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them to improve the Services without obligation to you.

6. Third-party services

The Services may rely on third parties (hosting, analytics, CDNs for conversion engines, linked websites). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculator or conversion outputs will meet your production requirements. Always verify critical results in your own editing workflow.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDOSICK AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY), OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify VidoSick against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, including claims related to content you process.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or change or discontinue the Services at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

We may suspend or stop providing the Services, or block access that violates these Terms, without notice when reasonably necessary.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may also have mandatory protections under the laws of your country of residence.

Before filing a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
